Overview

Chromatic for Claude ("the Extension") is a browser extension that customizes the text colors of Claude.ai responses (headings, bold, inline code, keywords, list markers, blockquotes) so that long answers are easier to scan. This privacy policy explains how the Extension handles user data.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data.

The Extension:

• Does NOT collect personal information (name, email, address, phone number, etc.)
• Does NOT track user behavior or browsing history
• Does NOT send any data to external servers
• Does NOT use analytics or tracking tools
• Does NOT use cookies for tracking purposes
• Does NOT read, store, or transmit the content of your conversations on Claude.ai

Data Storage

The Extension stores the following data locally in your browser only:

• Color settings for each element (headings, bold, inline code, keywords, list markers, blockquotes) per light/dark mode
• The selected preset (Default / Warm / Cool / Monochrome / Pastel / Custom)
• The keyword list you enter for custom keyword highlighting
• The on/off state of the master toggle and individual element toggles

This data:

• Is stored using Chrome's storage API (local storage)
